Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Connors attended the University of North Florida where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1994, and was a varsity letterman for the schools Division II collegiate baseball team. He moved to the New Orleans area in 1995 to attend Loyola University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1999. Mr. Connors was sworn and admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana in 1999. Shortly after being admitted to practice, he served as the Law Clerk for the Honorable Jacques A. Sanborn of the 34th Judicial District Court, Division “E”, Parish of St. Bernard, State of Louisiana. After two years as a judicial law clerk, Mr. Connors entered the private practice of law in 2002 as an associate for a large plaintiffs firm that specialized in the areas of asbestos, toxic and occupational disease litigation.
Mr. Connors joined the Mumphrey Law Firm, LLC. in 2005 with a proven track record of successfully litigating toxic tort, asbestos and occupational disease cases. Mr. Connors is known as an aggressive advocate who goes the extra mile for his clients. His current areas of practice include toxic tort, asbestos and occupational disease cases. Mr. Connors is a dedicated personal injury and occupational disease cases lawyer; however, he is most known for his work in the area of occupational noise induced hearing loss where his skills have secured multimillion dollar settlements for his clients.
Mr. Connors is a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice (formerly know as the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association) and has been serving on its Board of Governors since 2005. He is also a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist as certified by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC).
Mr. Connors is admitted to practice in Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the St. Bernard Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association for Justice.
